Campaign Planning Tips
- Start with one monthly campaign and measure redemption rate.
- Segment members by recency and spend when possible.
- Track point earn and redemption trends after each campaign.
Point Item
Point Item is a reward item redeemed directly with points. Example:
20 points for a dessert.
How to Configure Point Items
- Go to Points Shop > Point Item.
- Click Add.
- Enter item name and required points.
- Click Save.
Point Item Rules and Behavior
- Point items are redeemed as rewards and do not require separate payment.
- Tax is not applied to the redeemed point item itself.
- You can configure multiple point items with different thresholds.
Point Item Best Practices
- Offer one low-threshold reward for early motivation.
- Offer one mid-threshold reward to drive repeat visits.
- Keep names clear so staff can explain rewards quickly.
Point Voucher
Point Voucher converts points into a fixed dollar-value discount.
50 Points for $5.
How to Configure Point Vouchers
- Go to Points Shop > Point Voucher.
- Click Add.
- Enter voucher name, required points, and voucher amount.
- Click Save.
Point Voucher Rules and Behavior
- Voucher value is applied as part of payment.
- Voucher applies after tax (different from Point Item behavior).
- A voucher redeems full points once used, even if order total is lower than voucher value.
Example:
- Order total $20, voucher $5 -> member redeems 50 points and gets $5 off.
- Order total $3.50, voucher $5 -> member still redeems 50 points.
Point Voucher Best Practices
- Keep voucher tiers simple (for example, $3, $5, $10).
- Align point thresholds with average order value and target visit frequency.
