Users & Access
Add, edit, and remove the people who can sign into your business. This page is owner-only — managers and other roles do not see it.
Prerequisite: Selflane Account
Each user must already have a Selflane account before you can grant them access. If they don’t, ask them to sign up first, then return to this page and add them by email.
Access Levels
| Level | Scope |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to Back Office, POS, billing, and the Owner’s Portal. |
| Manager | Same as Owner except for the Owner’s Portal (no billing, no user management). |
| Custom | Access only to the sections you select per user. |
| POS App Only | Sign in to the POS app only — no Back Office access at all. |
For Enterprise organizations managing multiple businesses, see Enterprise Access. The Enterprise level uses a simpler Owner / Manager pair scoped to regions.
Add a User
Click + Add and enter the user’s Selflane account email, then pick the access level. They can sign in immediately with their existing Selflane password.
Tip: Separate Back Office and POS Logins
Create separate accounts for Back Office work and for the iPad POS — even if the same person uses both. Mixing them means a logged-in iPad sees Back Office tools you didn’t intend to expose at the front of house.
