Hours

Manage your business hours, online ordering controls, and temporary closures from one centralized settings page. At a glance, the page shows today’s operating hours, current prep time, and open delay — with warning banners when online ordering is paused or the business is temporarily closed.

These hours control the time window during which customers can place online orders and do not affect the functioning of the Point of Sale system.

Weekly Hours

Set your regular operating hours for each day of the week. To create or edit, click Edit.

  • Check marks the days you’re open.
  • Enter open and close times for each day using the drop-down menus.
  • Each day supports multiple time ranges (e.g., lunch 11 AM–2 PM, dinner 5 PM–10 PM). Click the + to add a split.
  • To copy hours to other days, click the duplicate icon next to the day.
  • Click Save when complete. Changes apply immediately and are reflected on your public storefront.

Special Hours

Override weekly hours for holidays, events, or one-off schedule changes. Special hours take priority over weekly hours for the specified date. Past dates are automatically cleaned up.

  • Click Add.
  • If the business will be closed for the entire day, ensure the toggle is set to Closed.
  • If the business has limited hours for the day, set the toggle to Open.
    • Enter the hours the business will be open using the drop-down.
    • Click + to add additional time ranges for that day.
  • Click Save when complete.

Order Settings

Access order settings via the Order Settings link in the status bar. This dialog groups all online ordering controls in one place.

Prep Time

Set the average time needed to prepare an order, from 10 minutes up to 18 hours. ASAP orders use this value to estimate pickup and delivery times. Common options (up to 2 hours) are shown by default; extended options are available for businesses with longer lead times.

Delayed Start

Delay online ordering after your posted opening time by 0–60 minutes in 5-minute increments. This is useful when staff needs setup time before accepting orders.

Pause Online Ordering

Temporarily stop accepting orders for 10–120 minutes. A confirmation step shows when orders will resume before applying. Use this during unexpected rushes or short breaks.

Close Business Temporarily

For extended closures like remodeling or vacation. Temporary closure will:

  • Stop online ordering
  • Hide your business from search results
  • Display a closure message to customers

To close: click Close Business Temporarily, enter or select a reason (preset options like Remodeling and Vacation are available), and click Save.

To reopen: return to this page and click Reopen Business.

Online Throttling

An advanced feature for high-volume businesses. Set maximum orders and items per hour for each day of the week using a 24×7 grid. This prevents kitchen overload during peak hours. The section is collapsed by default and shows a summary of active throttle rules.

  • You need to set both the maximum number of orders and items. When either limit is reached, no further online orders will be accepted for that hour.
  • You can update limits at any time and changes take effect immediately.
  • We count orders and items placed both online and from the POS.

If you use our POS system, consider capacity in terms of both in-house and online orders. Otherwise, the capacity applies only to online orders.

Example: A business open 11 AM–9 PM daily gets busy at lunch and dinner. The owner can set caps at 12 PM, 5 PM, and 6 PM. You don’t need to fill in every hour — only set limits where needed.
