Events

The Events module sells tickets for special events through your Selflane page. Each event gets a public sales page, an optional countdown page, and QR codes you can post or share.

Before launching ticket sales, check state and local laws if the event involves fundraising.

Dashboard

The Dashboard summarizes every event you’ve set up — totals sold, revenue, and time left to sell. Use it as a quick view across active events.

Manage an Event

Add and edit events from the Manage tab.

Create an Event

  1. Click the + icon in the upper-left.
  2. Enter the tax rate percentage (if applicable).
  3. Enter the ticket name.
  4. Set the price per ticket and the maximum number of tickets to sell.
  5. Set the event start and end (the actual event date and time).
  6. Set the sales window (when tickets can be purchased).
  7. Enter the event title; pick font and style if you want a non-default look.
  8. Optional: enter a website URL.
  9. Click Save.

Add a Poster

The poster appears on the public ticket page.

  1. Click Upload Poster.
  2. Use a 341 × 179 px image.
  3. To preview, click Event Public Page above the QR code — that’s the buyer-facing sales page.

Add a Countdown Background

The countdown page shows tickets sold, total revenue, and time left to sell. It’s useful for in-store displays.

  1. Click Upload Background.
  2. Use a 341 × 112 px image.
  3. To preview, click Countdown Page above the QR code.

Share the QR Code

Copy the QR code image to share online, or place it in print materials. Scanning it opens the public sales page.

Tickets

The Tickets tab lists every ticket sold. Each row shows ticket number, purchaser name, phone, and email (email is optional for in-person sales).

  • To see every ticket, set Rows per page to All.
  • To export, click CSV in the lower-left.
