Reviews

Customers leave reviews on orders placed through your Selflane online shop. Use the Reviews page to read feedback, look up the order behind a review, and reply.

Read and Reply

  1. Open Customer > Reviews.
  2. Each row shows the rating, customer name, comment, and review date.
  3. Click a row to expand the linked order — you can see what the customer ordered before responding.
  4. Click Reply to write a public response. Your reply appears with the review on the customer-facing page.

Replies are public. Keep them short and professional — even when the review is unfair.

  • Use the rating filter to focus on 1- and 2-star reviews first.
  • Sort by date to catch new reviews as they come in.

Operating Tips

  • Check daily. Replying within 24 hours has a stronger effect than replying a week later.
  • Address specifics. Acknowledge the dish or visit detail in your reply.
  • Don’t argue. If a review is factually wrong, state your side once and stop. Long back-and-forth threads hurt more than they help.
  • Pull patterns. If multiple reviews mention the same problem (slow online order, wrong item), fix the operational cause rather than answering each review individually.
  • Online Sales — track the order volume that drives review flow.
  • Member Program — reward customers who leave positive reviews after repeat visits.
