Notification settings

Use Notifications to control optional emails for this business. Turn off an email only when your team has another way to catch that information.

Change business notifications

  1. In the Back Office, open SettingsProfileNotifications.
  2. Find the optional email you want to change.
  3. Turn its toggle on to send it, or off to stop it for this business.

The setting applies to everyone at this business. It does not change notification settings at your other businesses.

Both settings must allow the email

Optional emails have two controls:

  • Business notification — an owner turns the email on or off for everyone at this business.
  • Personal preference — a person turns the email on or off for their own email address.

An optional email sends only when both controls are on. Your personal preference follows your email address across every business where you have access. For example, if you turn off a personal email preference, you stop receiving that email from every business connected to that address.

To change your personal preference, open the account menu and select My Account.

Emails that always send

You cannot turn off transactional and notice emails. They include invoices, refunds, disputes, and incident notices. These messages record money activity or provide important service information, so they always send.

Who can change notifications

Owners can change business notification toggles. Corporate admins also have owner access for this setting.

Managers can open Notifications and see the current settings, but cannot change them.

Managers can still change their own personal preference from My Account.
