Publish your menu to Google

Put your current Selflane menu on your Google listing so customers can check dishes and prices. First connect your Google Business Profile and select your listing.

Publishing replaces Google’s whole menu. Edits made directly on Google and items absent from the Selflane menu are removed from Google.

Compare and publish

  1. In the Back Office , open Settings → Profile → Settings.
  2. In the Google Business Profile card, click View menu beside Google menu.
  3. Compare On Google now with Selflane menu (what publishing sends). Expand sections to check dishes and prices.
  4. Click Review and publish.
  5. Check the menu, section, dish, and photo counts. Confirm that you want to replace Google’s menu, then click Publish to Google.

Only dishes that show online and have a price are sent. Google must allow menus on the selected listing.

Include dish photos

Add dish photos through Google photos before publishing the menu. A dish without a matching photo there is published without a photo.

Publish later changes

Menu changes in Selflane do not automatically update Google’s menu. Return to View menu after changing dishes or prices.

The screen shows the last publish time and flags changes since that publish. Use Reload from Google to read Google’s current menu again.

If the Selflane menu has not changed, republishing still replaces any edits made directly on Google.

What if publishing fails?

  • No dishes to publish: check that dishes show online and have prices in Selflane.
  • Google does not allow a menu: use Google Business Profile to check what the listing supports.
  • The menu changed after confirmation: review the refreshed comparison and confirm again.
  • Google refused the menu: correct the fields listed in the error before trying again.
