Choose kiosk hardware
Choose hardware that Selflane Hub can connect to before setting up a guest ordering screen. Plan for power, a reliable network, and space for the reader and receipt printer.
Supported devices
- iPad or iPhone running iOS 16.4 or later.
- Android devices running Android 10 or later.
Use a stand or mount so guests can reach the screen and card reader. Keep the device plugged in during service.
Card readers
Selflane Hub’s kiosk supports Bluetooth Stripe readers. Internet-connected readers such as WisePOS E and S700, and Tap to Pay on iPhone, are not kiosk reader options.
Create your Stripe account and Terminal location before pairing. Disconnect a Bluetooth reader from its previous device before discovering it on the kiosk.
Receipt printers
Use a supported EPSON or Star network receipt printer. Connect the printer and kiosk to the same local network, then select the printer in Selflane Hub and run a test receipt.
The kiosk receipt printer does not replace your POS kitchen printer setup. Keep the POS that auto-prints online orders awake and in the foreground.
