Add photos to Google

Show your restaurant’s logo and dishes on your Google listing. First connect your Google Business Profile and add the photos to your business in Selflane.

Send a photo

  1. In the Back Office , open Settings → Profile → Settings.
  2. In the Google Business Profile card, click View photos beside Google photos.
  3. Click Add a photo and select your logo or a dish photo already in Selflane.
  4. Under Show as, choose the category, such as Logo, Cover, or Food and drink.
  5. Click Review, check the photo and category, then click Send to Google.

Use a JPG or PNG between 10 KB and 5 MB, with at least 250 pixels on its shorter edge. If the photo is unsuitable, an error appears after you click Send to Google. Choose another photo and try again.

Google reviews new photos for up to 48 hours. The screen does not confirm whether a photo is public yet. Google decides which logo or cover it displays.

Remove an owner photo

  1. In View photos, find the photo and click Remove.
  2. Check the confirmation and click Remove from Google.

The list includes photos you and your managers added, either through Selflane or Google. Customer photos are not listed here. Removal cannot be undone here.

Use dish photos in your Google menu

A dish can show its photo in the Google menu only after you add that photo through Google photos. Add the photos first, then publish your menu.

What if no photos are available?

Add a business logo or dish photos in Selflane, then return to Add a photo. If Google refuses a photo, check its format, size, and dimensions.
